For all the Canada fans out there I just want to remind everyone of Jerry Baldwin.... that dude help foster the destruction of the program just the way that good ole Ray wanted it...I have my reservations about any coach from LSU..... I like Mike Houston of James Madison.... he is only making 375G a year so we got a great shot!

2 totally different scenarios and 2 totally different regimes, If Canada interviews and Maggard thinks he is the right person for the job he should not be automatically dismissed bc he is from LSU.

Except in this case, it would be the Athletic Director wanting to make the hire because it's best for the football program. Not the University President making the hire to help the Vice-President's wife earn political points.

I'm not pushing for anyone, but this makes you look small time banging LSU because of Baldwin. Stokely was a former LSU QB and did fine at UL until Doc pulled most of the little funding he had in Football operations.

Maggard is running the show, with Alden as an adviser. You won't see another brother-in-law deal like Baldwin done with these guys. And who is to say Mike Houston is a fit for our program, we are all just looking at resumes?

Canada would be the best hire we've ever made.

He has to be the clear #1

Honest question, T. I'm neither pro or anti Canada, but when watching LSU this year, I didn't see much of a difference between their offense last year and this year. Based on what I had heard about Canada coming into the year, I expected a much more dynamic offense. Was he handcuffed by Orgeron?

Read lots about how Orgeron had him cut down the playbook as it confused his own players more than the opposition.

That's what I would have guessed.
