We win we're in. Get ready for it. Best case scenario is we go to some far-away bowl where we can blame poor attendance on travel costs.

The only reason we would go to Nola at this point would be to not lose money off of ticket sales. The all-or-nothing rule with bowl games puts a damper on schools' decisions on bowl choice due to the fact that there's no partial compensation for selling your allotment. You have to sell it all to make a profit. But yes, I'm also getting kind of bored with the Nola Bowl. I would like something new for once.
Is it me, would we all feel better going to a bowl game at 8-4?
I sure would. Going to a bowl at 6-6 is basically receiving a participation trophy.
I don't want to go to any other bowl, other than the NO Bowl, unless it's in a year that showcases a great Ragin Cajun football program. Otherwise, we'd be fools not to go to the NO Bowl. It's the best venue we'll ever see. So far, we've played a diverse lineup of opponents. It's a blast for our fans. If we weren't in a "anti Hud" mood... ie we had a new coach... we wouldn't be down on the NO Bowl. There are few, if any, better alternatives for us... until and unless we have a great team... top 25 or approaching... to send out to a better stage. That's the only way fans will go... and anyone other than the folks that post here will truly care what we did.
Who says we are ending up 6-6? I think we win out bowl included and finish 8-5 on a serious roll!! That's only one win shy of those consecutive 9-win seasons. Then we parlay that into 14-0, an Access bowl win and a top 10 final ranking next season.
Aw man, why'd you have to wake me up? Oh, did I just type that?
Geaux Cajuns!
It will be hard to win out without consistent QB play, i'm not confident in Davis can be consistent
