I'm with you. I want to believe that the SLU game was a 'one of' for the defense and they will look like the run defense we ended the year with. With an improved secondary, we are ok on the defensive side of the ball. I want to believe that with a little more imagination and proper utilization of talent on the offensive side, we will be demonstrably better than last season.
We find a way to right the ship at Tulsa and get clicking, TAMU will be looking ahead to their SEC schedule in the weeks after us and we start walking through our SB schedule with a dominating win against ULM. I can see it!

We're not reloading at linebacker. Our D line hasn't been improved. No way we're as good as last year unless Hill is a monster freshman.

Zy'ion will be very good but our DC needs to call a better game! Linebackers are not very good! And, Blitzing against the triple option was a very bad idea! Week 2 has to be an improvement.
