The issue in which I'm attempting to ponder revolves around an individual who "allegedly" received illegal benefits from a college coach who was "positively" seeking this indiviual to become an active part of his organization...The individual claims that he identified actions presumed to be inappropriate...but yet he willing engaged in this same conduct. Absent the manifestation of any detrimental consequences which resulted from partaking in the "alleged" inapropriate conduct....this individual blows the whistle....as if there was some devine intervention requesting his disclosure!

Even if the coach was per say "Cheating" ....the accuser was a co-conspirator....Thus, absent an angelic encounter...coupled with threats of sending this individual to hell unless he confessed his sins of taking part in inappropriate conduct with a college coach....His actions can only be deemed as MALICIOUS!

I geuss in simple english....I'm just curious of his motive...regardless of whether his claims are baseless or not!

I understand what u are saying dont get me wrong but even if he was in the wrong also it falls back on the universityand thats what I dont want to see. Regardless of his motives they are serious allligations but like I said we won't know the outcome of this for a while and I will not pass judgement on anyone till it is settled.

  3. Default [MONDAY] Recruit: Claims not motivated by anger

    Tracking the Advertiser's ventricosed story
    | Sunday | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday |

Berry Jordan kept his goal of playing for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns through two coaching changes, but never got that opportunity.

The former University of Louisiana signee who turned in allegations to the NCAA that he received special benefits from the Ragin' Cajuns basketball program came to the university in fall 2004 but never enrolled or played.

Jordan, a forward at Division II Columbus State, came to UL from Kilgore College, a junior college in Texas, and was not eligible to play because he had not completed his associate's degree.

The violations Jordan alleges include having summer school classes that he took at Florida Community College in Jacksonville paid for, receiving cash and being given a bus ticket out of Lafayette.

Jordan was taking the classes in an attempt to gain Division I eligibility.

When informed of Jordan's allegations late Saturday night, both Louisiana's Athletic Director Nelson Schexnayder and men's basketball coach Robert Lee declined to comment.

When asked if he went to the NCAA out of bitterness, Jordan said that isn't the case.

"I'm not bitter," Jordan said. "Not at all. I just don't want them to do this to someone else. I don't want to see anyone go through what I went through. It was depressing."

This just doesn't pass the smell test, IMO. After DOC's previous stances on NCAA Violations, you think Nelson would REALLY just IGNORE this if there was something to it?

    Doubt it.

The one statement that I found odd was this...

"I'm not bitter," Jordan said. "Not at all. I just don't want them to do this to someone else. I don't want to see anyone go through what I went through. It was depressing."

Obviously according to his statement, he is doing it cuzz he's bitter, or else he wouldent have talked about how "depressing" it isr. Although I have no clue whats going on, I do agree, there is something strange happening.

Quite frankly, the Advertiser has run the equivalent of a story about a girl who got  ed making a rape allegation.

    Yeah, it could be true.

But it should be taken with a healthy does of skepticism.

... A year after the " ing" and purported incident.

    Not good Advertiser.

That would make a lot of sense...he is paying Jordan to tell the NCAA that Robert Lee while an assistant coach for 2 different coaches, and as a head coach has paid his school bills. Right.

I hope this is not true about the General because if the NCAA comes in, they can always find something to pick at.

I find it troublesome that Nelson did not act on it immediately, other than to tell the kid to leave.

....If you believe the kid's story. Nelson's past actions say otherwise.

That is not what I am grain of salt reading. Yes as an assistant, NO as a head coach. This don't make sense

Why wait this long to say something if you want to protect others from this happening to you? Just doesn't make since..
