I don't have a problem with Hud interjecting because its Lucas' defense that is in disarray. He's the guy putting the personnel on the field and making these calls. I totally agree!! Lucas and the defensive staff should pull all the film they can on the Colts when they had Peyton Manning. Their defense was always bad, but they had just enough to win the shootouts. Not ideal, but you work with what you got!Quote:

It's funny, the fact that Nicholls damn-near won last Saturday was the worst thing that could've happened for the folks tasked with keeping expectations low----the "you can't judge US by how THEY did" mantra has been on full display all this week!
Maybe one day in the future, UL fans and supporters will be able to have expectations beyond
being able to "compete" in the Sunbelt.......
