I don't think the locker room is considered part of the Tigue renovation project but an outside project that will be funded differently and I would expect some info on that in the next year or so. I think the bleachers would be the official phase 3 but I don't think that will happen for at least 3 years unless ticket sales demands it.
Would ticket sales determine that? I don't think it would be adding much seating. The only way at this point to increase seating would be to extend the bleacher down the lines, which would mean elimination either our bullpen or batting cages. I don't think our capacity will be increasing much more after this.
The clubhouse need to be done as soon as possible. If you look at the stadium the only thing in my opinion that takes away for the overall presentation of this project is the old club house sitting there. Where would it be located and how much will it cost to build? If removing the bleachers and extending the stadium is not in the near future I think they should be raise to match the stadium. It want be hard to do. When they installed the third base side bleachers they notice they were 2' to low. Easy fix. They set jacks under it and raised it and placed 2' stubs under each footing. It took about 5 days to do it......
They may get finished with the brick work this weekend If the rain holds off until Sunday.
The clubhouse/office are more than just that and will be funded separately. There is a reason that is is taking a little longer. Doing it right is more important than doing it quickly.
