He answers the question quite clearly for those of you wondering why we are playing St Peters this weekend.

There were four clustered behind the plate last Friday. He has great control and stuff. I wonder what they think of a guy like that not throwing mid 90's. I guess we'll find out in June.

Sort of reminds me of Jalen Beeks, Ark. lefty, but a little less fastball. http://www.soxprospects.com/players/beeks-jalen.htm

I get it. Lets hope this set of games isn't the difference maker at the end of the season. When you aren't in the SEC or ACC you have to be extremely careful with your OOC schedule. It isn't about scheduling great teams. It is about not scheduling historically bad teams (x3). This team was still bad when we scheduled them 2-3 years ago.

Some guy named Greg Maddux (Maddox?) wasn't throwing in the 90s either.. (excuse me for breaking my own rule and comparing something to a major outlier. But hey, encouraging that he's getting attention.)

Man, I really love listening to Robe talk. He talked about not shunning a coach and team that has nothing to lose. We are giving them a good opportunity. Hopefully St. Peters can get something out of this series that will help them down the line.
