Whoever came up with scaffolding that can jack up is a genius
Yes it is a much better way. I KNOW they had issues with OSHA to get started with the concept. I don't know if I would stand under it while they are laying bricks though. A hard hat wouldn't be enough. You don't want to be standing on the ground and hear somebody yell "HEADACHE".
They better stack the pallet of bricks very carefully on that rig!
Are the two scaffolding systems the same. They appear different in the pictures. If different, I'm guessing they can extend the left field scaffolding up to the required height to finish the brick work, correct?
As an aside, I guess I wasn't paying close attention but they won't be able to finish the brick work on the left field line behind the bleachers as long as the locker room is there as the rear support beams of the deck go through the roof. My guess would be this side won't get done until the new clubhouse/office structure is completed.
I don't think that is the case. The renderings have the current clubhouse in the same place as it currently is with brick columns going into it. It's drawn as a mostly brick building without any of the details included. I doubt they would leave it incomplete. It won't look like the 1st base line brick work but that's not how it was going to be anyway
The two scaffolds are different. I would think they can extend them. If not they will be replaced with others. Maybe that's all they could get at the time and they decided to go with them.
If you look closely there is what appears to be a structural elemet between the columns at the roof of the club house. I would suspect that is what they will be placing the brick on. We will know more as time goes on. I have not seen the plans so I am learning with you. The only thing i can do is interpret what i see in the job site cams.
Does anyone know if seat installations have started?
