The decision has been made.

Alford was eliminated and was not one of the 2 finalists. Nunez and Maggard were the finalists.

One of the two is one of Alden's guys. And Alden had a large part in the search. I'm sure you all can do the math.

Reading bios, Alford was the most qualified, and I'm disappointed he's not the guy. But I trust in Alden after reading his audit of the program, and since Alford isn't in the mix anymore, I'm confident that we've made a good choice between the two finalists.

That colossal error was not on LSU... that was all on us. Didn't Baldwin get let go from LSU when they let Dinardo go? I think Dr. A hired Baldwin after he was already let go from LSU... clearing the way for Saban to come in with his new staff. It almost never gets mentioned that Baldwin was also a position coach at Tech for 10 years prior to being at LSU. Baldwin was probably a pretty decent defensive position coach. He just didn't cut it as a head coach.

Even worse...Tech for 10 years. I hear they pee in the gatorade to give it extra kick.
