I believe that is correct. The real question was how soon would it be ready after the season started.

To my knowledge that was never the case. They have known all along that the Cajundome would not be available for the start of the season.

With the new lighting (from what I understand) it'll look dark no matter what ala Madison square garden. The lights will be focused on the court

I don't think it can be overstated how much of a great impact the new lighting system will have on things. Can't wait to see it!

I wonder if the new lighting system might have a positive effect on shooting percentages? Maybe the darker dome (other than the court) will make it seem more intimate and therefore more like the smaller practice facility as far as depth perception is concerned. Any thoughts?
