You should be answering if there are footprints in the concrete. If that's okay with you, you won't know if you're in heaven or hell.

Could someone explain why there appears to be footprints in the finished concrete? I'd expect it to be smooth, or is there going to be another surface on top of this? I think think this areas is under the steel framing, but it still appears unprofessional to not be smooth.

CE, I am sure they will finish it and make it smooth. My patio was the same way. After a couple of days they came with a machine to make it smooth.

They spent most of the daylight time yestetday finishing the surface. I think what you are seeing is a distortion due to the wide angle lens.

Upon further review there are no footprints in the concrete. Wish someone had told me it was a plastic cover creating all the dips and such in the finish.

I'd guess it's to keep moisture in.

It's no plastic cover. What you see is footprints but only the dirt from the soles of the shoes. It is smooth as a babies butt or your girl friend which ever it may be.
