I'd love a reason to feel good about this team again. I'm sure they need a reason to feel good about themselves too. A win this week will certainly help a bit. At the very least you'd get to enjoy a W for 2 weeks leading up to Homecoming. The team will have some confidence and 2 weeks to prepare for Idaho. But first thing's first......win in San Marcos or the next few weeks will not be fun.

I think I'm in the minority here, but I've always liked Buckley.

If Buckley was allowed to run the stories he writes, a lot more people would like him.

But, he does write click bait..

We have enough skill people.

Our defense is playing good enough, and when healthy is better than average.

This is the kind of team and the kind of season that some schools use to springboard into something great. I've seen it many times. These schools reel off a few wins, beat a P5, and everybody is talking about them the next season.

It CAN be done, if you have the staff to lead the way.

I don't see the defense being better than average. This is a defense that twice...AT HOME...had the throttle pulled back because it was just too easy. Playing well against teams like South Al, Tulane, McNeese, & NMSU is like being at the head of special ed class. It means nothing to me. The defense is still a very large part of the problem. Because the man controlling the defense is still Hud.
