So the Cox building will be taken down before the new Clubhouse is built therefore the coach and players will have to move out of the Cox building when the roof is sealed around the columns that will go through the old clubhouse......Please don't advertise this because the school to the east of us and the one to the north of us.....way north, will have a field day on that plan.

I'm not understanding why you think this is a problem. Almost any building of any size has numerous support columns in it. What is the big deal with a couple of them in the current clubhouse?

Where is the new clubhouse facility going to be located when built? Getting a little thin on room in that area. Also what would be the projected purpose of the old clubhouse once the new one is completed? Any ideas?

I am sticking with my observation. If I want to add a workshop in my backyard where my hot house is, what would be your solution in doing this job? And don't say this is apple and oranges either....

It is not only the support columns, it the brickwork between the support columns. But of course, I am going with the picture posted on the billboard outside of the Tigue and also on here.

The footprint for the stadium is BIGGER than the footprint for the clubhouse. The outside of the clubhouse will be inside the stadium. So the bricks you see on the outside of the stadium will not be at the same place as the outside of the club house. Imagine putting a little box inside of a big box.

Third base line where the existing bullpen is located. This would be a multistory facility and sketches indicate it could have some open area on the first floor. Think along the lines of a beach house where it is elevated. That would keep it from interfering with walking paths, covered pavilion area and even leave the bullpen pretty much intact.

After they build the new clubhouse will the old clubhouse remain as some relic of the past inside the bowels of the stadium? I guess what I am saying, why hold on to this building at all. I will be going down there today to see the footprint of the new construction along the third base side. And maybe, if I can find someone to give me answers about that section and how it will look. Yep, this space can be repurposed many different ways once the new clubhouse is built
