Frenchie, although it wasn't perfect and looked bad at times, just like last week, defense didn't lose this game. This team has absolutely zero identity on offense.

That doesn't excuse them from also being terrible against another awful team. They didn't give up 50...but they didn't shut down anything.

I've always been a fan of coach Hud, but there is no way anyone can defend him now. I don't want him fired. We'd probably do much worse if he were gone. But losing these past two games is down right disgusting. You should have beaten Tulane in regulation, but didn't thanks to a number of things including turnovers. I get it, it wasn't your game. But losing to NMSU when they have you every, EVERY chance to win the game. This is a disgrace. You can't pay someone the highest amount in the conference and lose these freaking games. We are embarrassing ourselves.

Well how much would it cost to buy-out his contract? if we buy him out now it would be 750,000 dollars a year. In 2017 it will be 500,000 a year, if I am reading that correctly.

Let him finish recruiting and then hire someone else. It would be dirty but we would save some money.

Yep. And the two most successful coaches at UL don't get paid crap and they put their kids in a position to win every game.

So you're saying this is the best we can do. Nobody expects him fired during season. But his boat sailed without him. He'll only get worse

We're not doing so well with the kids he's landed after four winning years. How's that likely to get better after a couple of bad years.
