I hope they are going to tarp the 3rd level for basketball games. 5k in the lower levels would create a much more intimate atmosphere. Looks great so far

I don't like tarps, but I know why they do them. Maybe that's another reason they went with black seats. I was looking at the last picture LaCajunsFan posted and my eyes were drawn down to concreted sections without seats.

Drop curtains on that third level (which will make for a better look) and you have suites that will be blocked. Cover the third level with tarps and that will look like crap....

I agree: I despise the thought of any tarps, curtains, etc. That would just be so very, very ltu-r. Besides, with the renovation (color changes, lighting, etc.) I think it will be a YUUUUGE difference from what we are used to.
I think if they do anything, just don't sell the third section until the first fill up. Problem solved.

So you'd force people into seats they don't want instead of center court. They might just say no thanks.

Unfortunately they won't be able to do curtains because they didn't have enough money to move the suites and control room down like the original plans called for. You can't curtain off the suites.

With the Great Cajun Dome Blackout of 2016 I don't think you will need curtains or tarps to make unused areas disappear.

Yes! That's exactly how I had envisioned it. I truly think we need to postpone judgement until the final product is delivered.....because if it looks anywhere near this, then a lot of the present day issues will be resolved.
