Made it out with the W with Gunner being a little off, sloppy defense and leaving a heap of runners in scoring position. Not bad. Have to know how to win when things are off.
Was an exciting game to watch. Thurm is the man but boy did he have a rough night tonight with passed balls and catchable wild pitches. The fact that DMO did not pitch bodes well for the Cajuns later in the tourney. I would guess carter could pitch again on Saturday. He was magnificent!
There was a pretty nice contingent of UL fans at the park. I will be interested to see of TX st fans show up tomorrow. It could be a really fun atmosphere.
Tomorrow's Diamond Sports Schedule
UL BB at 7:30 on ESPN3
UL SB at 8:00 on ESPN2
Kasuls had a good game but had been in a horrible slump. Hadn't gotten a hit off a lefty in quite some time.
I expected the move. As well as Mills for Sensley.
I also won't be surprised if both start tonight with a lefty going.
It may be just me, but I really thing our coaches know what they're doing...and why they're doing it.
