I certainly prefer UL, but it is illegal. Louisiana is OK because it is legal. Will likely never win the battle over use of UL. Do you really want to still be fighting that battle 10 years from now? We need to be practical. Even Alden didn't advocate using UL. Surprised, being a former Big 12 guy, that he didn't recommend LU instead of LARC.

Never is an awfully long time....especially in regards to universities, which last for centuries, if not longer. A whole lot can happen in all that time.

But I do like LU.....certainly more than LARC

Interesting use of KU has nothing to do with anyone else in the state of Kansas but in reverence to Kentucky which used UK.

Believe it or not....we have made so much progress with LOUISIANA RAGIN CAJUNS and the use of UL for athletics that I would hate to change....my area is Calcasieu Parish and many would be surprised at the use of UL in this area...only the typical older types have a problem and let's face it, those will NEVER change no matter any changes.....would just add fuel to their fire....my .02!

---Yes I agree with more and more seeing it and hearing others say it---Stay the course with UL and Louisiana---Of all the proposals of this study that seem to be right on course---Please don't change with LARC etc!!!
