I see (3) WR's from the Acadiana area made 1st team 4A All State. Cecilia's Kenya Dartez 6'2" 185 / Begue 5'11" 175 / Crowley's Jacq'co Price 6'2 165. Has hud offered any of them?

Do your research. How many offers do any of them have? All state is a great honor, but it doesn't guarantee that you will get to play at the D1 level. Look at what we have committed at the WR position already and ask yourself if any of the 3 you listed are better.

Not knocking the guys but we have some good receivers already committed, (JDs brother is a stud), and I doubt we have a lot of extra schollys for more receivers this year.

I'm not either but I just don't know what people expect. Lately a lot of people have an agenda and every narrative fits that our coaches are total morons and have no clue what they are doing and don't know how to recruit or coach.

Some were saying a few years ago that Robe needed to go, didn't have the fire anymore, the game had passed him by, etc. And now the man walks on water...again.

Kinda crazy what a disappointing year or two will do to fans' perception of a coach.

And someone will say that HUD is making $1 million in 3, 2,....

Robe went out and hired a great assistant when things were not going well. We are still reaping the benefits of having a great hitting coach and a head coach who is a great pitching coach. Funny thing is even when we had the power, and we did we still played small ball as often as not.

We had two players on the all conference teams. We have been missing the mark for several seasons, and it caught up this year. Now it seems a lot of the best talent was red shirted ready or not to play.

Handling of the quarterbacks could not have been more poorly handled both in selection, and playing to their strengths.

No they are not morons, but it happens to all coaches, they can at times not be all they were in the past. IMO Hud's first class was the best. After that we signed lots of great players that never played a down for whatever reasons might be.

You are not a top flight coaching group when you go 5/7 and are in the SBC.

Not arguing that but because he didn't offer a kid who is going FCS he is now a moron, well I guess the other 126 FBS coaches are morons too. He needs to right the ship, I think he deserves that chance and I question the way he handled some things but I'm
Not gonna question every scholarship offer, we have no idea the conversations that go on, who is on their board, how many WR's they want to sign etc. We have areas of need that need help immediately, with 18 WR's due to be on the roster right now, I don't see that as one of them.

Crazy, I'm going to have to call you out on this post. You were very critical of our football coaches this season. I'm in agreement not with our coaching staff's recruiting model, but certainly with the fans that constantly think we should recruit someone in our area that "they say" is a stud. But you are deep in the camp of being critical of our coaching this past football season. Actually, you were one of the best critics.

No coach knows how to manage talent like Robe. He's also a great person every parent should want their son or daughter to spend time with.
