Not every team is going to shoot that well against us every night. We'll be fine. At this point it's like football, we can't beat these "power 5" teams even when we have a lot of talent ourselves. It's pretty frustrating no matter the sport..

Well baseball and softball do pretty well.
I don't disagree with a lot of what you're saying, but even completely unguarded, 15-25 from 3 point range is ridiculous.
We need to improve defensively, but I would guess that 99% of the time (unlike the last 2 games), our opponents won't make over 60% from behind the arc.
Yes.. Shawn has improved.. I hope he takes a leadership role and LEADS us. We have some young guys that need to grow up quickly if we gonna make a run later in March
so our offense can be good enough, but we still need to improve on shot selection and situational awareness. our defense is very weak. these teams are getting wide open looks most of the game. we still turn the ball over way too much, and free throws need to improve. but we have great fight and heart. now just need to get our head to follow.
Many of those shots were open shots. Explain the free throw percentage. Explain the turnovers. Explain the poor shot selection.
When the media is talking about this game, and they treat it like a P5 12 point loss, remember, it was never close.
Again, not indicting this team this early in the year, but I see last year's team.
---I am with you on that---my question is why he is given the green light at will----He has to be a great practice (3 pt) shooter for this staff to have this much confidence in him----hate not being able to see this game ----at least I saw a very good VC team beat Delhi!!!
I don't have an explanation for what you asked for. Again, I said I don't disagree with what you said. I was just pointing out the insane 3 point % that Miami and Alabama shot against us.
Had either Miami or Alabama shot even 40% from 3, which is good, and obviously if we rebound the majority of the misses, both of these games are extremely close.
And I'd bet that teams like UALR and Troy won't be anywhere near as talented as Miami and Alabama. I'm excited to see how this season plays out.
