I would not go that far, not even close honestly. Cajuns have 1 game the rest of the way that we "should" win, and that's against NMSU. Of the other 3, I'd guess App is a loss, and the other 2 are "toss ups", if we lose out on the coin flips, we end up not even bowl eligible.

Yes, to an extent. Ladarius lined up at the TE and that route pretty much put him running an inside route. With Jamal, he should mostly line up on the outside... but run a route over the middle. That does kind of place him in the "Ladarius" position... but it mostly gives Haack a better look at the spot to lead him. Throw it high and Jamal will get it. I also think if Eli were in the slot, it would give Jamal some coverage changes. Our coaches just aren't being smart with our hands people. I'm sorry to make those kind of comments... but it is true.

If we stick with Haack and his passing capabilities (which is smart as ____)... we need Eli to be one of his options from the slot. Riles is also a cat that I'd use in several packages. He's just too much of a hungry beast not to bust a few nads.

It IS NOT an offensive talent void this year. It is a shift in talent that needs to be exploited. I actually like the talent on offense. I think we'd burn the wizz out of the SBC if we'd use these guys smarter.

its been said a million times on here so here's one more time JJ needs to conform to his players strength not try to force them in his system.

'Disinterested observer,'.....your biggest lie to date. And that's saying a LOT. 'Disinterested????' Is that why you are on our site site every day? And on the SBC site everyday?? You hate all things UL and have scurried off without answering some very basic questions. Because you are a lying POS.

You have proven many times over how much of a lying POS you are, and how much you hate all things UL.
Tell us again how ULM 'outplayed' us for '3 quarters' ????? You are such an astute student of the game, LOL.
And there were a bunch of other questions you twirled out us on.....why did you not answer the questions, you chicken ____ embecille.

Thanks guys. I thoroughly enjoyed this tread.
    My observations:
Over the past two games we have had a distinct advantage in special teams and in game adjustments. Our staff has clearly outcoached the last two opposing staffs.
Our DB's struggle in all defensive schemes.
Our DL is improving. Shorting up the rotation has helped.
Nice to see a WR get open downfield and catch the ball!!
    McGuire had no burst.

We as fans may be pressing hard for Robinson to be a vital part of this offense... but the coaching staff isn't. Gabe and Jamal don't compare in the roles they should play. If Hud realizes after today which QB should be our primary QB... he might realize what plays to focus on... and he might even realize who our receivers are and what routes they belong in.

Correct in everything... except that our staff has not out-staffed anyone this year. The only thing you could possibly be pointing to is the blatant brain freeze that has happened in at least two games by opposing coaches. Other than those horrible brain freezes... I stuggle to see where we have been better as a coaching staff for an entire game.

True as true can be. I just haven't been able to confirm through people close to the system whether JJ is a part of the problem... Hud is the problem... or if combined they have only half an offensive brain between them. If they're combining effort in deciding how this offense operates... I'm thoroughly unimpressed. It's just not that difficult to see how to utilize the talent we have. It isn't even a close call. It isn't just a "well, that's one idea I guess". It's blatant ignorance. We are jamming a square peg in a round hole. And I believe Hud is the hammer.
