Am am sure that from a "pure fundraiser" standpoint the new hire's credentials will be very good, if not impressive. However, judging by the responses from the admin's allies I doubt he will bring much of anything to the table regarding the "additional responsibilities" as outlined in the job posting nor much in the way of the intangibles (conference and media connections) that Hale would gave brought to help offset Farmer's shortcomings. But we shall see in about an hour.

It's like Christmas morning.. only, it was a tough year for the business and you're dreading opening the presents because you just know its socks or a coloring book..

Thanks! Thought I had a few years left in me, but the state department is losing its grip on reality. It was time. For a year, I plan to take it easy. Piddle around the house. Go to at least a couple of away football and basketball games. (I hear Boone, NC is a great place.) And in the spring I plan to take in as many softball and baseball games as possible.
