No position is good enough to make that call. It was so close that super slow motion replay does not confirm one way or the other. His finger tip may have been on the plate when the tag was applied.

Don't think they should've sent him. Didn't get any kind of jump at all on that play.

No … there was already one out and this is a pitcher's duel. If you have that kind of speed at third base, you force the defense to make the play. It took a perfect throw and even then the call could have gone either way.
