Luke, you nailed it. Ok, Coach Hud says he knows it, well, do something about it. You are the only one who can.

You can't tell me for one second that this game played completely different than most games. We had an abundant amount of seniors graduating and getting recognition for it. Not to mention the players on the cusp of breaking records. It was a "look at me" game whether you want to discuss it or not. We didn't play football---AT ALL
I'll discuss it all day with you. So you think that if we wouldn't have had the seniors recognized Saturday we would have won that game??

And what do you suppose the players do about the records? or do you just not want the local media to cover that because it may be a "distraction?"

In other systems having the core of your team off doing their own thing pregame wouldn't matter near as much.

If only we could get fans to stay post game.

I agree that is somewhat of a distraction., but at this point we are just looking for any reason to try and pinpoint this loss and this seems to be one of the more rediculous reasons I have seen by saying this was a "look at me" game because the seniors (OUR MOST SUCCESSFUL GROUP OF ALL TIME) was presented.

I don't buy "look at me" or any sort of selfishness being involved.

I do think pregame distractions added to the flat start.

Fact is, with everything that went wrong Saturday, it was still a game for the taking at the start of the 4th quarter.

Not sure what the psyche of the team was for the game, but they looked uninspired to me.

They just didn't have that "special" feeling wearing those non-special unis, with no black coloring either.

1st, How much has the injury from last season affected him? He is not the same guy for sure.
2nd, how much has Huval gone as center affected his ability to understand what defenses are throwing at him? Huval is the main piece we lost and even with the O line playing well at times, are the defenses schemes understood by the lineman and QB?
    Just my thoughts!

I know that we twisted his ankle in the game before. Could that have something to do with the lack of called running plays for TB?

Formula for beating UL. Stack the line to stop the run. Blitz QB on every play. QB is flustered. Coaches will make no adjustments and run perplexing plays. QB remains flustered. Special teams are average. Throw the football. D backs play 10-12 yds off the line. Easy pickins. That will open up the running game. LB do not play gaps. Field day running the ball. Coaches make no offensive or defensive adjustments. Result: Victory.
