I can see how this funbelt league is killing our RPI. Against d1 competition UL is +39 wins over 500 and rest of league totals to -19

These guys all make it sound like we're a lock for a National Seed if we win out or close. Not sure I'm buying it, but I WANT to.

I don't want to hijack the thread, but we simply need to get out of this league.

Do what you did for softball and just don't believe what everyone else tells you.

Sounds like a plan to me.

Aaron Fitt: Haven't dominated? They lead the nation in scoring margin (+4.2 runs per game) -- I'd say that's pretty dominant. They've had a few tighter games lately against Arkansas State and Texas State, but those are decent clubs that are second and third in the Sun Belt, and the Cajuns still won both series. No, I don't think the Cajuns are vulnerable at all; on the contrary, I think it will be extremely difficult for any team to go into Lafayette and win a regional or super, because they have a great home-field advantage. That team is built for its park, and they will be far more physical than anyone else they play."

This Jeff in DC guy has got a hard-on for us. That's like 3 weeks in a row he's asked if we're a legit team.

I read this last night from PGs blog. The question was what's the perspective of Louisiana pitching staff heading into post season. Good love yesterday nationally.

Observer, It's an overlooked unit if you ask me. While, sure, the Cajuns have an outstanding offensive lineup, the pitching staff is very solid, too. Baranik/Robichaux/Boutte are quality starters, Reagan Bazar is a key reliever with gas and Matt Hicks/Ryan Wilson also are key arms. This is a very good team in all aspects right now.
