If their QB is a good rusher like Jay says then I expect for him to scramble for a first down on a 3 and 20+ at least twice against our soft zone D. Similar to the way Troy picked up their first downs on the 30 yard draw plays.
It won't matter Cajuns still win BIG!
That's a recipe for an upset. I watched a bit of Georgia States game against Chattanooga and they were one of the worst teams I had watched in a long time. They have got better and better. Beating us would make their season. Get up on them early and they will be in that well here we go again mentality.
1) Run the ball
2)Run the ball
3) Burn them deep
4) Run the ball
Focus, play hard, keep the ball(oh, give it back to the ref after each score), get the ball back from GSU, Don't show too much, play a bunch of people, have one or two passing only series per half to blow the carbon out of our receivers, but let the stable of backs do the bulk of the damage.
Come back home and get ready for ULM, because THEY will be ready for Louisiana!
We need to remember that NMSU was just before Troy game. This one is before (with open week) the Monrovians. Hud isn't forgetting. Believe we can start poorly but would mean playing starters longer with risk for injury. Hope we score a la the Colonels. After watching Cajuns/Bulldogs since '63, I don't take any team lightly. Remember North Alabama!! or the Alamo for that matter.
