Yeah, I'm one of the more traditional uni people and I think these are a good blend of old and new. Hope to see a red top, white pant combo. Helmets are sweet!! Come on season!!!!

These uniforms are awesome! Much better than last few years with the pink sleeves. I don't mind the piping on these because it's mixed in with traditional looking stripes as well. And to the guy saying it's the same as the Bustle years, please dude, get off your meds. I'd love for you to post comparison pics of the two because are much more modern than those crappy jerseys a few years ago that looked like plastic numbers from the stands and on tv (i.e. Mark Risher years)

I said earlier that I liked last years better than these but I'll concede that these are better than last years. Still not great though but hey again, it's Russell. Can't really expect much.

No on meds involved I can assure you, just very observative. If you really look at these they have the same make up of the last last 3 styles, though more so the first 2 of the last 3. I'll let you google pics of those to compare. I don't need to do the work for you. What I pointed out was, if you really looked at these jerseys, you will see that below each arm is a sort of V shaped pattern (take a look at the jerseys Chris Mason wore and you'll see this V shape was red and wrapped around the top of the shoulder, West Monroe wore these last year, though theirs are obviously blue) and the stripe on top of the shoulder is the same stripe that Des and Mark Risher wore in their earlier years (again, I googled those jerseys today and saw that the stripes were the same just thinner this year). I am only pointing out those 2 aspects. They are pretty much the same. If you look at pictures of those 2 jerseys and this years side by side they are...we just have a different color scheme.

All in all, I've made my point. No need to keep commenting about how much I hate Russell. If anyone has read this entire thread they will know I've made that abundantly clear.

Difference of opinion, that is all...no meds involved but I appreciate the sarcasm.

Season can't get here soon enough....uniform threads can't be the only thing keeping us above water!!

With the end of summer conditioning just several days away, Louisiana football coach Mark Hudspeth invited the media into the team's locker room on Thursday afternoon as he unveiled two new Russell uniform designs for the 2012 season to the Ragin' Cajuns players.
