I've never seen a Cajun team with the potential of this one, and we are catching two good teams in transition early. If we stay focused and keep Broadway healthy this could be that magical season. I think 12-0, although remote, is possible. Our offense will be even better than last year, the defense will be much better with our new coach, and the kicking game is unproven, but the new guys have a good resume. Get ready for an exciting ride!!

We play in the weakest conference in BCS football. It is time for this team to win the conference. We can't do that losing 2-3 conference games, maybe losing just 1 game. This team should be better than the last 2, 9 win years. I predict we win the conference which puts us back in the NO Bowl and go 10-2. We win our 3rd straight bowl game for our 11th win. We play a more regional opponent in the bowl game and break 50,000 in attendance.

I predicted our record last year so here goes for two perfect years in a row - we go 10-2 regular season while starting 0-2, losing to Ark and K St (but we play both well and give Ark a big time scare). We win out, win conference and blow out our opponent in third NO Bowl. 11-2 final record!

The good news is Bielema will be doing this with players that were recruited to play in a passing style offense. Also when you look at two schools that we played who depended on the run, San Diego State and Florida, neither was able to run over us. They both had to resort to passing and this is where I like our chances against their inexperienced QB. Let's get inside his head and get a few picks.

No doubt the Hog defense won't approach the defense that the Gators had and the Hog offense is unknown.
