The question is, why are we still listening to this clown??

For a program that had not been to a bowl in 40 years...3 consecutive bowl attendance records and 3 consecutive bowl wins is great for the university no matter how you slice it. New Orleans bowl is on Saturday... Not Tuesday, Sunday or Friday. Great for attendance and ratings. Dominate that thing til they rename it the cajun bowl.
I agree. That venue is gold for UL in every possible way. It's enough for me that we match up with a variety of other programs... to keep it "fresh". But, I wouldn't mind heading to the NO Bowl/Superdome over and over and over. Just considering how the NFL rated NO as a Super Bowl host city... it is arguably the best in the country.
As for Tulane... has Steele lost his mind? First, they are struggling. Second, they will not accept a matchup with the Cajuns in NO (or any bowl). They will get stomped, and they know it.
HUD would accept the NO bowl without hesitation as its been very good to us, but I believe HUD has his boys aiming a bit higher this year.
Aiming higher is great but there isn't one negative about going to the New Orleans bowl
