I think Little Rock sucks, but at the same time a 3rd bowl would be great for the conference. The more teams that are guaranteed bowls the better. Besides, if we take care of business every year we should be in New Orleans anyway.
Little Rock is pretty much the same weather temps in December as Memphis/Dallas/Shreveport/B'ham/Charlotte/Nashville/El Paso/DC/Atlanta........& a bit silly to point LR out when a good portion of bowls are played in similar temps. Plus it's only a few hours drive.
Cool downtown, bring a jacket & pass a good time.
Son shut your wimpy little mouth. My daughter just finished a 4 year career in high school soccer. I have sat through so many freezing cold nights that apparently your tiny nads could not endure. As for you going see .LSU it does not matter to me. I did say either tiggas or hogs. And you did say that because you froze your itty bitty parts, Cajun fans would not show because you don't think they have enough fortitude to sit through adverse conditions. Next time speak for yourself and not an entire fan base.
Weather in Little Rock is not much different than it is in Memphis and I would take Little Rock over Detroit any day. Any out door stadium has a chance to suck in the winter.
LR is a cool city! I'de be more than happy to party the weekend away in the Rock and watch my Cajuns!
It is interesting that they are trying to ADD new bowl games; I wonder if there will be some that will be going away.
That's right. Shreveport's I-Bowl can be just as uncomfortable as Little Rock. The key for these bowls is to dress like an Eskimo. Even when the forecast appears just slightly chilly... in open stadiums... the rule is... dress like it's 20 degrees cooler... with layered clothing. I usually triple up on my thongs... including a fur lined selection that may not show off my contours... but it keeps my boys all snuggly and warm. It's just a matter of priorities.
