I can assure you that in lieu of the Congress and Bertrand signage that more was going on and that part got upgraded so we swapped much better for an aforementioned -----Gerald is like guy that gets a walk to keep the inning going and later delivers on the squeeze bunt to win the game---the frustration for all on this board is the same that I feel in that there is NO COMMUNICATION of what is happening and how it is happening---got to admit however that I am glad that all the happenings are not out front and can only happen after months and years of talks between athletic department reps and potential donors !!!! Remember that Tech is over 1000 days late in their shovel ready end zone project ----But ______ BE HAPPY!!!!! The Stock market is up to about an 8% climb in 3 months!!! Obama can't take any of it in a retirement account YET!!!!

Boom. I agree with you that a more positive tone should return. I think you will see it once the master plan is released. I have a few questions though . . .

(1) I don't understand your baseball analogy for Gerald Hebert.

(2) I don't understand why you think silence from the admin is the cause for all the good things that are about to happen. Sure, you have to do some things behind the scene. But, I don't think this needed to be years in the making.

The way these things are made today, LED displays that is, these manufacturers haves loads of boards and modules ready to go. All they do is construct a housing to hold multiple displays, usually a 2'x2' door, and add communication and power cables connecting each one. The computer gurus configure the program according the final size and add all the bells and whistles to produce the result the consumer, or in this case, fans see. They might have to run some new electrical circuits out to the dinosaur, as usually these displays require more amps or circuits than what they replace. I like the Optec brand LED displays. These are what you see at the Sonic restaurants all around Acadiana. Those guys know how to make them and provide excellent support. Prices by manufacturer vary quite a bit, so hopefully for the price being paid, we get a display that does'nt require a set of binoculars to see. Either way, two thumbs up from this guy.

OK --2 points---#1 Gerald is kinda OLD SCHOOL--he knows a lot of people with a lot of money and they might not necessarily want the word out on their giving money---this is a quite common phenomenon as word gets out the world starts asking you for money ---they may have committed to Gerald but the time wasn't perfect (he walked and kept the communication open) finally say business turned or exploded ( and he laid the perfect bunt to win with his timing to a giver)--------#2---See in my number 1 point as I am referring to private names but NOT TO letting the word out as to needs and what we need and why!!!!----OH I have added a #3---Tech has been on hold forever because they don't have the money--but sure gave CUSA some stories to get in and it worked---I do think that we have more character and reality in our direction and intentions!!!
