According to Jay Walker, he will have Scott Farmer on his show on Wednesday. Some of the things he will discuss with Farmer are ticket sales, and conference alignment at Walk On's in New Orleans.

I recommend someone with a video camera get clip of Farmer as his nose grows and grows while he talks UL's being ready for this conference alignment thing. If asked about the athletic master plan being ready for the New Orleans Bowl? Let's just say Giant Redwood Sequoia with regards to the nose. He will have a lath handy so he can go home looking more or less like the man who left in the morning.

Just as Hud has done with uniforms for specal games, I heard J1M has something special planned for the Bowl. Word on the street is in homage to Bourbon Street he is going with a red sequined thong with matching tassels.

In fact we had a great Cajun Fan, cannot recall his name who ran the board, got married, had a kid, and eventually moved to the Houston area and posts very little these days. Was a writer for the school newspaper and he did a mighty fine job of promoting UL.

In those days he regularly P!$%ed off TooLame and Purple people by stating in baseball we were competitive with them, and it was true then at least. Competitive meant we expected to win, and did more than they wanted to admit.
