As far as fans making the trip and fun factor, New Orleans is the best fit for us(short of a BCS game of course). Say what you want about the perception of certain bowls, this is great for our fans, city, university, team, recruiting, no matter how you spin it. I'll take NOLA over the vast majority of bowls any day.

What hotel is the team staying at? Just called marriott and they said the block is at the JW Marriott at 614 canal... Last yr it was at the new orleans marriott at 555 canal

Yea i noticed that. When i called the 1-800 number they told me the block for the NOLA bowl at the marriott hotel chain was at the JW Marriott this yr
