This is a team that is young and needs to learn how to win. They have been in a number of close games this year, coming up on the short end in many of them. Nice to see them on the plus side of a close game ... against a good team ... in addition to being a comeback win (down 4-0). Finally, they scored runs with two outs ... all five of them.

This team has overall pitched pretty well lately and some credit must be given to volunteer assistant coach Joey Satriano who is calling the pitches from the dugout.

I thought he did a great job of setting Henry up with some breaking stuff then calling on 93 mph cheese to strike him out and end the game.

Didn't Satriano play for UNO? He was a pretty good ball player from what I recall.

Satriano pitched for us the last two years.

Wait Jay---this kid is in his first year of coaching and calls the pitches???? Obviously I don't know the system and whether the catcher (straight from the intramural fields) can overrule or what---just curious----Still a great story about our catcher!!!

Maybe they took a step forward last night. The players and coaches certainly deserve credit for pushing forward and not giving up on each other in tough times. The hard times will make the good times that much sweeter.

Joey started calling the pitches about two weeks ago. Doesn't matter how long he's been coaching. He knows pitching.
