I know bill will definitely be top 10 in the forty
that alone will improve his draft stock, he does great in the individual drills, and has a great pro day, we may see hIm sneek in the first round

I knew he was fast I had no idea how fast.

It makes sense though, you can't do the things Bill Bentley does and not be fast . . . very fast.

Could someone bring back up the spring practice thread form last year? I would like to congratulate myself on my exact evaluations of Bentley & Gautier which were well criticized. Thank you in advance.

BTW, I will be at practice this afternoon to make more EXPERT evaluations that the riff raff can then criticize & call me out of my head over. At which point history will show who is the man.

Here you go BK I merged the spring game stories from last year so here is where your post is.

1) QB: Number 17 is by far the best QB. He has the speed & confidence to play QB at the highest level & when he was on the field it was an electric feeling in the crowd. He did everything well & was the best athelete & fastest player on the field. This guy definitely deserves playing time & for my money will be the starter this year & possibly conference player of the year.

Number 5 is one hell of a football player. He is cocky, arrogant, funny, & oh BTW, he can play. No doubt, he has the stuff to be all conference & a possible future NFL player & he doesn't mind letting you know it either. I really like this guy.

Now these are just observations from an average joe with a bad sideline view from one practice, so please post any other observations, but don't hate on the messenger too badly.

I for one will admit that I would have scoffer at your assessment at Gauthier last year. However, Bill was a fairly known commodity to Cajun fans.

BWK-----What can anybody say except that you are very correct----However just ask VOB and he can tell you that I was 2-3 years and running ahead of you on #17----Now what really has surprised me is his throwing out of the pocket and not the bootleg and waggle that first impressed me!! Also who was the Freshmen linemen that you predicted would be so good???

You Hit on Blaine. Missed on the overall quality of the offensive line. Missed on the running back, though the best wasn't there yet so you get a pass. DL was better than you predicted. Bentley was a fairly well known commodity. Missed Baer.

So your big find was Blaine. Lots of folks on here wanted to see him play more, but you did shout pretty loud about it.

You made some decent observations and some wrong ones. Congrats, but don't quit your day job and call ESPN.
