Congrats from San Diego. That was one hell of a game and Louisiana was tough!!!

All respect from here and I am so glad that both teams played so hard and represented our schools.

it makes our victory all the sweeter knowing that we beat an above-average, sound, and solid football team in the aztecs. i'm sure you are proud of that bunch. thanks for being a good sport. good luck in the big east.

here's another Aztec take: you guys are better than us.

Please don't take these comments as a slam on your team. That was a great bowl game. Your did an oustanding job, your QB had all day to allow your receivers to find the open crease in our zone. Unfortunately the officiating left something to be desired, IMO.

Don't know if you made it down, but I hope all of your fans enjoyed New Orleans and had a safe trip.

Along with Harris, Butler and our entire line except for Plouhar. This offense is gonna be DEADLY next year. I think we're primed to be the best Offense in the belt. Now on defense, we're gonna have some holes to plug with Bentley, White, Kelley, Dean, Lewis Buchanan, Gibson, Smith, Tucker, and Gaddies all graduating. We will basically have to completely retool the Defense. Next season will be EXCITING!

Thanks Steve. It was a great game and a great atmosphere. We were able to do what we set out to do on defense and that was stop Hillman which we did but the QB is tough. If you would have told me that we wouldn't get a turnover on defense and would only sack Lindley once, I would have sworn we'd lose but it was a magical game.

I think there was lots of holding along that line you could really see it from our seats

This official squad did not call a single hold all night. They called lots of pass interference, and missed tow to Green late in the game. Glad they got the defensive foul right on the field goal.

He clearly jumped twice trying to draw our offensive linemen offside and rumor has it he was also making noise. It was clearly the correct call. It's just not a call you see made very often.

In fact he is the same guy that caused Brett's FG to be taken off the board in the first half for a false start. He is #49 for the Aztecs. I recorded the game and I wondered if it was due to him. It was. He did the same motion to cause the first false start. It wouldn't surprise me if officials were made aware of his actions and they were looking for it.
