Nope. Fair's fair. SDSU fans buy the tickets, they get surrogate fans. Great thing to do for the kids, generous from the fans, helps put people in the seats for a bigger game crowd, and outstanding PR for their school. Too bad we didn't think of it.

Amazed at the various ways in which first year fans refer to UL. With some you would conclude that Louisiana has no fans outside the city limits of Lafayette, and others you can tell they come from Baton Rouge with UL opinions based on what they have read in the Advocate. Others you know they just haven't had to think about or express their feeling for UL before.

Nice to have them on board.

No need to talk about UL having fans outside of Lafayette. We have plenty in New Orleans. It is unfortunate that our alumni association has not done a good job of keeping the chapter active. There are over 4k UL alums in the greater New Orleans Metro area. There really should be four times that, but we all have to make a living, and Texas seems to be the place.
