Remember there are lots of freebie tickets and tickets through Ticketmaster so our 17000 and 5000-10000 freebies and 5000 or so other sales and visiting fans there and the bands the crowd will be fine
Boomer----You should have worn your helmet strap.
As you all know UL ticket office started taking orders for tickets long before they had tickets in hand.
Yesterday my brother who already has his ticket drove to the Cajun Dome from NI to buy 4 more for customers and he was told to fill out the order form and they would call him. At what point can someone just walk up to the ticket window and buy a ticket without having to make 2 trips to the ticket office? We are a week away from the game one would think you would no longer have to fill out the order form and wait for a call.
Now, now, they are just being lame. I mean can they still not have secured all the seats that were ordered. You are correct they should be into selling them to you as your drive up.
That is kind of sh&1!y, they did that to my dad this week. He ordered 2 more when he went to pick up his first order, they called the next day to pick up his second order. Pretty lame.
This station is one HUGE advantage Cox has over LUS in the Lafayette area and IMHO, will help them tremendously to keep good market share in the area.
Cox and LUS are both good options for all residents; I chose LUS because I need the fiber optic bandwidth they can provide, but Cox is still a very good option.
Congrats to them for expanding their Cox4 coverage; anything that helps the Cajuns is good in my book!
Geaux CAJUNS!
How are the student ticket sales looking? Will the "red zone" be there?
Also note that those totals likely do not include suite tickets. All of the suites have to be purchased through the dome and UL does not get any credit for those sales. I know a number of local corporations have purchased suites for the game. In addition to the price for the suites they also have to purchase tickets for each individual to the suite. BTW, i believe all of the revenue associated with the suits goes to the Saints. That was part of the last deal to keep the Saints in New Orleans, IIRC..
