Nothing wrong with expectations. I do think Nicholls is better than that Southern team we played. They haven't been good offensively, but their defense isn't terrible. And, it's not like our offense is lighting things up or anything like that.

The word unacceptable got to me I guess. It's all good.

But hey, I just want to be 2-1. I really don't care how we get there. Style points don't matter, especially if the East German judge is voting.

Actually, while winning is the most important thing, I think style points do matter to an extent. Look at the rankings after last week. Mid-majors such as Tech and moanroe while both winning dropped several spots (Tech dropped 9 I think) because the score was closer than it should have been. Since Coach HUD talks about changing the culture I big win would go a long way in towards changing the culture and perception of UL, IMO.

This is the first time in ages that we can play with intensity for 4 quarters. We have better athletes. We have better coaching. We dont have a winning tradition...YET!... Now is the time to put all 3 together and kick some serious sss. Im hearing from a relatively reliable source, 25K is not out of the realm of possibility for Saturday night. Be there or be square.

Personally, I want to sit in a full, rambunctious, rowdy, inhospitable, (add whatever other adjectives fit) student section with the same electricity we had against OSU last year. And judging from the number of confirmed attendees on the Facebook event page making it's way around, we should get just that.
