I'm not Jake (duh) but I think he should stay in the NFL as long as he is having fun.

IF he decides to stay I think he is worth more than th NFL minimum he won't get his 5.4 million as a Colt McCoy backup, but even the NFL minimum is more than most people can make anywhere else the rest of their life.

I think the Texans are looking for a good back-up QB. Jake would be a great fit here. He is not likely to be picked up as a starting QB by anyone.
