Our new/renovated stadium will not look like this---Some concepts like the Building part outside the left side will be there (This will hold administrative offices and other to be named needs) ---The bowl will be made ( I think this is a cheap way to add more butts)----- The club and press box will look a lot like this ( the suite concept is getting to be older ideas as more like the Club concept to mingle with more friends)-----Now we get more room for Football with the entire Cox building---All the other sports have their own facilities!!!! Get Cranked!!!!!

Is that a Texas Tech symbol at the student entrance side?...lol!

Looks very familiar! :<) I remember when TxTech was upgrading their stadium while my son was going to school there.

I'd be totally cool with something along those lines!

I've said this on one thread or another. This Texas Tech upgrade is in the ballpark of $100 million. $40 million can do a lot of good...but not this.

No doubt. According to their website, TTech did this in a couple of phases over a number of years. Plus the field was opened in 1947. So that didn't all get done recently. Obviously, we are nowhere near ready for that major of an upgrade, but we can use that as a great model to aim for.

Tx Tech has benefitted greatly from Big 12 dollars! The big pressbox side renovation took roughly 2 years. I got to see some of that while my son was going to school there. If I'm not mistaken, I believe the stadium sits around 55K. End zone area is relatively small - - similar to what we could do at Cajun Field.

Their info said the stadium seats around 60,400.

Close enough. Point being its not in the ball park with the UT's, aTm's, LSU's of the world. 50,000 capacity would put UL in very good company seating wise. Of course we then need to put butts in the seats!

Washington St. has the right idea. It is in the ballpark of $30-$40 million. It would be nice to see the Cox building and the practice facility connected where it would function as one unit. Make the Cox building two are three stories tall and add a club area or offices overlooking the field. Replace the scoreboards and increase their size. No need for our university to have a stadium larger than 40k. We play in the Sun Belt and even if we move up to another conference, it will not be a BCS conference anytime soon, so 40K will be sufficient for a long time. Boise St., TCU, UCONN and even Louisville before their move to the Big East, they all understand how important it is to have the stadium full, compared to a 50K seat stadium at 60%-80% capacity.

In other news . . . Porsche's upcoming 2014 Cajun is set to be a mini-Cayenne. The Porsche Cajun is supposed to supplement its Cayenne big brother in the lineup - providing the perfect Porsche for those who need Cayenne versatility, but on a smaller scale.
