What's funny is....Baton Rouge had to settle for Les Miles. I hear he talks to birds.

this guy might not be a "name," (as if miles is really a "name." couldn't be a name anywhere but br), but i'm here to predict that he will surprise people in the way he brings this program back to respectable, if not championship form. he may not do as dramatic a job as the mighty saban did at the great and powerful alabama, but he will bring michigan back to at least a semblance of its former glory. i believe he is that good of a coach. imho.

i think he's probably a pretty good coach, too. but that misses the point i was making. in 'hawk's fervor of how great michigan was compared to lsu [hell, how good ANY team would be in a comparison with lsu--ya' gotta love him], he even went so far as to call it "a better job." the fact they failed to get two "michigan men" to come back home, and had to make a reach, and maybe a good one, for hoke speaks volumes about how good the job is.

Funny, I have been hearing Baton Rouge wants Miles gone for over two years now. Seems like they too had to "settle".

I think I may have figured out why Miles turned down Michigan again. He would have to give up oversigning. Big Ten looks down on this practice. Hey Sonny, mind telling me how LSU has 12 scholarship players leaving, and 21 verbal commits and looking to add more? Yes that does include mister peterson. How people can cheer for teams and a conference that does participates in such shameful practices is beyond me. But, they win. And people just love a winner....no matter what.

Liked it a lot. Coen Brothers movies are never good to see at the theater. They are quirky and always end terribly not leaving you with a warm fuzzy feeling, but as a fan of their work, I really dug that movie.

You never answered my question. How is LSU going to get to their 85 scholarship limit when they lose 12 players and have a verbal commitment from 21? I really really wanna hear your opinion on this.
