National Underclassmen Camp is kind of like the NFL Combine Billy, these kids get put into a system of rating and if they rate out in the 10 at their position, go to the next event by invitation only. The next one was hosted by Alabama and Nick Saban. Huge advantage for those guys to have all these top athletes competing and the NUC using their facilities.

For instance, UL serves sloppy joes while Tulane has a fully catered affair in the Superdome. Little things means alot when you trying to get an 18 year old's attention. I am just not sure UL pays enough attention to the little details in their recruiting efforts.
I'm sorry, I just don't buy this. With a school in the heart of Cajun country, a school that cooks for opponents players and parents during basball season, cooks for thousands before football games, has cooking clubs at every turn and is home to the city with the most restaurants in the COUNTRY (per capita)... It is inconceivable that recruits are being given sloppy joes.. Can someone please confirm this?!

Have Cajun T confirm the menu for the recruits before the Arkansas State game.

Lets be clear, you can be fed on an unofficial visit some type of meal provided for by the program. Now on official visits, those are paid and all Cajun recruits are put up over night at the Hilton Gardens and are taken out to some of the best Restaurants in Lafayette. In fact in the past official recruits have been taken to City Club at River Ranch as well. So, if Tulane is serving some type of catered meal for unofficial visits in the Dome, as long as they are picking up the tab it is legal. If someone else is paying for those meals, then they have a problem. The question is, was it an official visit or unofficial visit.

This year, Cajun recruits on official visits will be catered to a private dinning experience at
    Abacus on Pinhook.

From another thread on Basketball recruit, Clarke:

I had dinner at the Blue Dog on Friday night. Clarke and the coaches walked in as I was getting ready to leave. He's a big body. Would have hated to have seen the check for his meal.

Coach Marlin and those guys have to be excited to get a legit big guy that fits the mold of what they want in the middle.

This is basketball, however, the Blue Dog is not a "sloppy joe kind of place".

Bob Marlin is not a sloppy joe kind of guy. As for Bustle, I'm going to take a wild guess and say the sloppier the better.

Bustle seems like a Franks'N'Beans type of guy to me. I'd like to say it like the guy on Something about Mary but I just can't
