Seriously, I do not know what the setup will be with respect to checking folks for reserved tickets (in the reserved portions of the stadium). Also, there may be less reserved seating available than you think for the non-Texas games.

I do think there will be plenty of folks selling reserved tickets outside the stadium ... for prices better than you will find online.

I just took a look at some pics of the stadium, more specifically the "BERM". How many cajun fans they expect to fit on that little hill, and how many drunk ones are gonna roll down it?

No worries, the concrete wall at the bottom of the berm area is a little higher than the ground. Thus, drunk fans can pileup nicely at the bottom ... they will not spill onto the field.

Folks,

Taking State Highway 71 into Austin is the way to go. It is interstate quality and safe highway with no stoplights until you get to Bastrop. But you need to watch your speed on this road as it is typically patrolled well ... especially around Columbus (where I-10 meets 71). The stretch of highway 71 in and around Columbus is nicknamed "The Toll Road" for a good reason. You can do 5 mph over well outside of Columbus. But 5mph over in Columbus can get you pulled over. This has happened to several people I know ... they are looking for drugs.

When you are on I-10 coming up on 71, be sure not to take the 71 Business Loop. Wait for the Hwy. 71 Exit to LaGrange/Austin.
