Zach Osborne is untouchable out of the pen, I'd like to see him close games for us.

les smith was lights out at the plate again...however he is suppose to have an MRI tomm on his arm. Hawkins had a grreat weekend, as did fontenot, keefer, whipple, and bostick. Osborne was great twice

_ In regards to the RPI, I checked Boyd's World this morning and we had jumped about 20 spots from the low 100's to around 80 after the 1st 2 wins. Updated numbers come out around 8-9 am each morning. _

Up to 73 in the latest BW RPI. MT dropped to 53

All of these remaining games (6), sans the Western Kentucky series, are opportunities for RPI bonus points.

Tulane could move into bonus territory by the end of the year, but is currently well out of range.

something that I like that Boyd does is an "RPI needs report" He currently projects that if we go 18-9 the rest of the way, we can possibly crack the top 45 in the RPI. I think that this is a very strong possibility with our play as of late. He also projects that if we go 20-7, we could crack the top 32. Getting into the top 32 should get us an at-large bid. Getting into the top 45 certainly helps getting an at-large bid. Winning a SBC regular season title and a top 45 RPI should warrant an at-large bid.
