2nd half?
2nd half?
I did not get to watch the game but looks like the second half was not a good one for the Cajuns.
Jerrel Bellamy scored a career-high 25 points to lead four players in double figures as Troy pulled away in the second half for a 78-59 victory over Louisiana on Tuesday night at Trojan Arena before a crowd of 3,035.
Honestly, we played OK effort wise. We were just overmatched. Finister was out and we had nobody to contain Bellamy. We played hard but we had too many foul ups and they killed us at the FT line. Collins looked really good at times and hurt us other times with his lack of playing time and Mejia is the worst 3pt shooting specialist I've seen
As of right now we’re looking at 7 games in 7 days for conference tournament. Losing Finister pretty much sealed that deal. The one team we absolutely do not match up with is Troy and not having him obviously hurt. We don’t necessarily match up well with ark state either.
That is the understatement of the year. LOL. Honestly, our chances of beating ASU on the road were not very good to begin with. We had nobody to stop Jackson when we played them at home and Finister was one of the better guarding options as well as perhaps our best scorer. It will take a monster game from a couple of guys but we really don't have that type of firepower.
