I have a good feeling about this game but I won't be able to listen or keep up with it, hoping for a good outcome.

Looked great first half, then 2nd half our offense completely went away. Was damn near all 1 on 1.

Oh well, good win. Will trust Coach White.

Very nice win. Cajuns shot lights out from 3 point range.

Yesterday was the complete opposite of Thursday night. Jones played 29 minutes and protected the rim with 5 blocks. Contrast that to Thursday night when foul trouble starting in the first minute made him ineffective. Woodson hit four threes and Collins had 4 points along with good defensive play. Thursday night, only the three main guys played well. At crunch time, Olvera and Finister hit big buckets to stymie a mini run by Texas State. Thursday night the offense was very stagnant most of the second half. No clue if this can continue. They need to hit a decent percentage of shots to have an opportunity to win either of the remaining 2 games.

That’s going to hurt TXST’s Bubus cup standing.

Damn, not even a game thread for this one. Like Mike said, Jones made a huge impact on the game inside. They started trying to go at him a bit more in the second half I believe to try to get him in foul trouble. I just don't get why Woodson doesn't often play more. He's shooting the ball the absolute best from 3 right now and he plays hard on both sides of the court.

I felt good for Michael Collins. He clearly played poorly on Thursday. He got good run in the first half because he came in and gave us a spark.

Like I said, we are typically going to be a 7-10 make team from 3 so there's really no need to shoot 30 in a game. We measured our shots and generally took pretty open shots and we hit over 60% of them.

Lastly, a number of people on here have been critical of coach especially in regards to the offense (this includes me), but one thing that I give him great credit for is this team still comes out and plays with top notch effort and they play for each other. We are a 10 win team and the entire bench is up all game, coaches are yelling and the energy is just impressive for a team that has had its struggles this year and I would think there could be some players not necessarily happy with their playing time but you don't see that and I give it to coach for keeping this team together when they were 2-12 and getting blown out every night. I now look forward to hopefully keeping a number of these guys in addition to the newcomers.

I think the lack of attention to Saturday basketball on the board here was simply due to the fact that softball and baseball were also playing that day. I hope we consider going back to Saturday night games next basketball season. Early in the season, many people have kids playing biddy basketball on Saturdays. Later in the season, we conflict with diamond sports. I understand all the other teams in the league like Saturday afternoons due to travel for the opponent. I think our situation here is just a little different culture wise. The fact the team looked terrible in the previous game and have an overall poor record is a factor in lack of interest. Zephyr said he looks forward to keeping a number of the current guys and welcoming newcomers. I agree with that and will add that the 3 guys sitting out due to injury may make the most significant impact towards winning next season.

I don’t think we have a choice as to what time we play on Saturdays. I could be wrong but it’s either noon or 3pm unless the conference decides to flex your game to espn linear broadcast that evening. I agree the Saturday start times are terrible. We haven’t had a night game on the weekend since Tulane if my memory serves correctly. And that was on a Friday night.
