Thought we’d be able to compete with Houston. Pretty big let down to close out the weekend. Was hoping Tipton would get us off to a better start and the offense from the morning game would carry over. Can’t do much with 3 hits, giving up free bases and letting them spray the ball all over the yard.

It was an average week. All 3 losses are not “bad losses.” The way 2 of them happened (Florida St and Houston) are the concern.
Just been a step forward, step back first 3 weeks.
Missouri is the worst team in the SEC thus far but a run-rule over them is nothing to sneeze at.
Just need more consistency, but this team is gonna get better.
4-2 is a decent week. Really controlled a big 10 and SEC team. Managed Howard in the first game and avoided disaster in game two.
Let one get away at TSAB and just looked gassed vs. UH.
Get home, rest and back at it again on Tuesday vs. northern Iowa. They’ve not played a great schedule and sit at 6-5.
It seems, so far, with this team, it's like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get. They beat Ole Miss, then, turn around and lose to Prairieview A&M. They run-rule Missouri, then, turn around and get run- ruled by Houston.
They've had pitchers who have preformed really well at times, then turned around and struggled. They've had games where they have hit the ball incredibly well and games where they have struggled at the plate.
So, going forward, for me, it's very difficult to predict how they are going to do against any given opponent. Hopefully, they will figure out exactly who they are and what they are capable of doing, sooner rather than later. At this point, I think it's anybody's guess as to how this season will eventually turn out.
