In Marlin's last year, he had $200K in NIL funds. Q had $850K. This is not "virtually little additional NIL". In addition to the NIL funding increase, the budget for the coaching and support staff increased by 30%.

Losing is having an impact on the players--the effort is not what it was in the first few games--team unity is starting to suffer. The film out on how we play defense and we are being exposed.

If I understood correctly, Coach Q had a short time to recruit this year’s team. With that said, he’d better have a damn good recruiting class this offseason… no excuses.

In looking at our current roster during last night’s game, none of these players could have started during any of the special years we all think back to… whether those are teams from the 70s, 80s, 90s, or into the 2000s up to 2015 or so.

    I haven't seen anyone attacking coach Q.

Your post virtually assures it will happen.

When you ask kids to play defense for the first time in their careers, other areas always suffer.

    Initially.

I would have thought they would have caught up to the speed of the game by now.

This year is a wash. It just is.
We need to reload with our incoming good recruiting class and pick up some transfers in the portal.
I still believe in Coach Q to find the right guys.

There is nothing interesting in his style of basketball. I think I'll pass on tickets next year.

He doesn't care. The truth is not of importance to him.

The problem he is having is actually due to his creation. He did a lot of real big talking before the season saying this was a tournament team and we would be in the final four within the next 5-6 years. While I understood this to be of hyperbole, you can't get upset when people are critical of you when the season has gone the exact opposite way.

I've seen his recruiting class for next year and if that stays together, I'll be excited about next year's team for sure.

Agree on both counts. He was WAAAAAAY off regarding where he thought we would be based on the talent he had signed, which was EXTREMELY limited, to be kind.

You think he could have spent the $800,000 more wisely.

I do care - that is why I post here - and while it is not importance to me, it is very important to me

and if one does not see the RP posting Indians getting restless here towards Coach Q and his lack of success this year, one is a just not being honest
