What are you talking about? You make the case that Oregon was a fairly weak P4 playoff team, and they absolutely dominated JMU and started coasting in the 3rd quarter.

There's no other way to slice it.. The G6 got two shots to prove itself and ____ the bed in both. Not to mention they kept two of the largest college football fanbases out of the playoff.

Nick Saban is con man like Kiffin and all these other coaches who milk schools for every thing they can get. As soon as there ego allows and let's them them think they are NFL material they get their ass handed to them. Looking at you Saban , Kelly and Dion not yet but it's coming.

For those saying JMU doesn’t “deserve” to be in the CFP or we’re boat raced you should google Oregon’s schedule this year. I tried to copy/paste to make it easier. I am not impressed with their wins.
If the Cajuns played the same game tonight as JMU I would be so proud. Huge discrepancy in budget, recruiting and facilities between these P4 schools and all the rest.

9 out of 10 times big time p4’s will beat g6 teams but JMU proved we deserve a seat at the table. All conference champs should be in the playoff!

I would be ok with a handicap point system, similar to bowling or golf. Probably not as high as 20 or 22 like the betting line but something would be interesting

Wild Cards teams like JMU aren't supposed to win.

Sometimes (like the 2008 Cardinals) they will.

The difference is the NFL has wild cards every year.

In College everyone wants to make forever assumptions based on the first "Dear in The Headlights" appearance year.

I'm getting more and more in the camp of a G6 Championship with 16 teams. Look at the minor bowl games. No attendance, weak performances. Now go from playing Delaware or Jax State who we can't even beat to Indiana, Ohio State or Oregon. This isn't basketball. Look at the Top 25 where there is a clear distinction in the P4 and the couple of G6 teams. Tulane already got wiped out be Ole Miss and now plays them again. JMU played nobody and lost to the one descent team they played, Louisville. Great record but hardly comparable to Notre Dame, BYU, Texas or Vanderbilt, 2 of which should be in the playoff. And what are they playing for, not to get totally embarrassed on national tv? With the portal and NIL, it is now the haves and the have nots. After watching early bowl games and the game last night with UL and Delaware, it became evident that UL is among the have nots and how far removed UL and G6 teams are from the P4 with the gap widening every year.

After that piece of ____ game I had to watch Saturday morning, the college football playoffs should be contracted instead of expanded. I had the miserable time wasting experience of having to watch Miami & Texas A & M play the worst football game I can ever remember seeing & that include preseason NFL football. Both of these teams proved that neither one of them deserved to get a shot at a national title. So for anyone _____ing about the G-5 teams who made it. Go & watch that cluster ____ again & tell me who doesn't deserve to be in & who does.
