Definition of USLing it. Thinking success automatically transfers to the local successor.

They allowed Marlin to completely kill the program. Hope they don't allow Football and/or Baseball to suffer the same fate.

Many remember “USL’ing it” when Cajun Field had 25-28K people on a Saturday night. “USL’ing it” when you couldn’t fit another person in Blackham or 8-9K people in the Cajundome but you go right ahead and keep dreaming that we’re bigger than what we are. We have no money and no talent to speak of in all of the 3 major sports. Wake up and smell the NIL era. We got no shot until the playing field is more level.

Well, UL hasn’t figured out how to replace the boomer fans that are fading away. That’s been happening rapidly pre NIL.

How much money would you say on average a coach "gives back" to their own program?
A teacher for example is estimated to spend upwards of $2K per year on supplies for their classroom, of their own money.
So lets say on a $50k salary they give back $1k, thats 2 pct, are coaches that make a million and above giving anything, and if so does it approach 2 pct, $20,000....maybe that would be a start to convincimg the next group of casual fans and alum that their is buyin...why should they pay. If others arent. Napier was on to something when he tried to get the team to join rcaf, granted it backfired, but it also remained unclear what he was giving

Any idea on when we will start getting some of the 4 injured players back? Hopefully before conference play starts. If I remember correctly, 3 of the 4 were projected starters.
